A Mixed Rinks Gala
Monday 28th August 2017
You are invited to enter a team(s) in our Gala on the above date, please note that the
format has changed from that of previous years to that detailed below.
The entrance fee is £40 per team and this includes tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival and
throughout the day, lunch and tea and cakes at the end of the day.
Dress is greys and registration is 9am or 10am depending on your start time of 9.30 or
10.30.
Gala Format;1. EBA rules
2. Each game shall be of 8 ends or 50 minutes(lunch session 10 ends or 65 minutes)
whichever is the soonest.
3. Each team play 3 games of 8 ends and 1 game of 10 ends.
4. Number 3’s to remain down.
5. Scoring:-Win-4pts, Draw-2pts and 1pt for each end won, in the event of a tied end
½ pt to each team.
6. Score cards signed by both teams to be handed in at the end of each game.
7. In the event of adverse weather conditions causing play to be abandoned scores
will be counted up to where all teams have played an equal number of games
