Rack rate will vary based on Oakland resident or non-resident status. Twilight and Super Twilight starting times
vary throughout the year. Back nine is defined as the first hour and a half of daylight. Current time information may
be obtained in the Golf Shop. All tee times and access to golf course is subject to availability. No discounts for
tournaments, leagues, special events, or other offers unless noted. Metropolitan Golf Links reserves the right to
charge weekend rates on holidays and course-declared holidays. Rack rates are subject to change.

Membership Rules including Short Game Practice Area Rules and Safety Etiquette








The short game practice area is limited to up to four people using four rented shag bags at a time for one-hour
usage per bag. Do not bring your own balls to hit in lieu of checking out a shag bag.
The short game practice area is not intended to be used in lieu of the driving range nor intended for hitting iron
shots. Full shots exceeding 60 yards are prohibited. Do not practice hitting over the central green. Please be aware
that for the safety of all members and patrons utilizing the short game practice area as well as golfers on the
course, persons found violating this rule will be asked to leave the short game area. Memberships may be revoked
without refund if you are repeatedly asked to abide by this rule.
If other members and patrons are using the short game practice area, please be aware of their locations and do
not position yourself in front of them and find a location where you are less likely to disrupt someone else’s
practice. The space is large enough to comfortably and safely accommodate four people practicing their short
game if you are respectful of your position and actions.
Errant shots are to be expected while practicing. Yell ‘Fore!’ as needed to other patrons and any golfers on #10 tee
box. Wearing headphones are discouraged if you are unable to hear other golfers yelling warnings to you.
Communicate politely with other patrons if you need additional space to avoid causing injury to others or wait to
use an area if you feel that you need more space. Do not force others to move by hitting towards them.
Be courteous if another member or patron expresses their need for additional space.
Please shag balls and return a full bag to the golf shop. Do not hit balls onto the driving range or course.
Please fix and fill divots and rake bunkers.
There is an area reserved on the driving range for Metro Links members. Members are welcome to use other stalls,
excluding the area reserved for instruction and the UC Berkeley golf teams. Space is subject to availability.
Membership fees and privileges are valid from date of purchase to December 31, 2015 and are neither refundable nor
transferable. Membership cards issued at the time of purchase must be presented to the golf shop staff when utilizing all
membership benefits and may be verified by staff. Your photo will be taken at the time of membership purchase and
stored in the tee sheet system solely for identification with your membership. No personal information given in this
application will be sold to third parties.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the program guidelines and agree to abide by these
rules, which along with this application contain the complete agreement between the parties. I understand that
Metropolitan Golf Links reserves the right to revise, modify, or withdraw the Metro Links Club or any feature of the
program at any time without prior notice. Metropolitan Golf Links reserves the right to refuse or revoke a membership at
its discretion.
I hereby waive and release all rights and claims for damages I may have against Metropolitan Golf Links, its respective
agents, owners, representatives, and successors for any and all injuries suffered by me in connection with my
participation in the Metro Links Club program and usage of the Metropolitan Golf Links facilities during my current
membership period. I agree that I am liable for any damage caused by my errant golf shots or negligence to property or
persons.
