TURKEY-LESS PIZZA PARTY-
This Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 22, Fidelity House will be serving up a FEAST of
fun, action & food from 11:30 - 2:00 P.M. Registration is required and the fee is $5 for members & $7 for guests! Hope to see you
there & THANKS for signing up. ** REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS! Fidelity House opens at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesdays
for open membership- even during pizza party days. PIZZA PARTY PARTICIPANTS AND VOL. CLUB
MEMBERS ONLY will allowed in the building and the supervised outside areas from 11:30 A.M. - 2 P.M! For the
Safety of all, Fidelity House wishes to remind parents that we ask kids to not wait, stand out in the front and side areas of Fidelity
House or in the schoolyard during after school hours- including pizza parties. Thank You for your cooperation
THANKSGIVING BUILDING HOURS- Fidelity House will be CLOSED on TURKEY DAY, but will be following our regular
open membership hours for Friday & Saturday. (1st - 4th graders- FRIDAY from 2 - 5:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10 - 4:00 P.M./ 5th graders
and up- FRIDAY 2 - 10:00 P.M. and Saturday 9:00 - 4:45 P.M.) "THANKS for your cooperation!"
PRE-THANKSGIVING ACTIVITIES- On Tuesday, Table Football & Indian pick up sticks will
be part of the fun along with a chance to make rain sticks. Fidelity House will be sponsoring an archery
“Turkey Shoot” for those in grades 1 & up, a chance to dress up like Pilgrims and Native Americans and play
the Turkey quiz bowl game on Wednesday. Thanks for joining in!
LAST CHANCE for TURKEY TOURNAMENT -
WEDNESDAY is Tournament Day for 1st - 4th graders and
TUESDAY this week for gr. 5 & up. The winners of any of the tournaments will go on to take part in the TOURNAMENT OF
CHAMPIONS scheduled to take place in December (and a chance to win a memorable prize)!! This week's scheduled match-ups (barring any
technical difficulties) include: Cutthroat pool AND pick up sticks for the 1st - 4th graders!!! The action begins at 2:30 P.M. See you there!

TURKEY TUNE-UP- FiHo Preseason High School Basketball – Fidelity House will
be giving high school players the opportunity to sharpen their skills before tryouts with workouts over
Thanksgiving weekend. High school boys workouts will be Friday and Saturday, November 24 & 25 at 10:30
–12:00 (9th-10th gr) or 12:00-1:30 (11-12th gr) and Sunday, November 27 from 12- 1:30 or 1:30 –3:00 pm.
High school girls workouts will be Friday and Saturday, November 24 & 25 from 1:30-3:00 pm. The program will be
directed by AAU coaches and Fidelity House staff.
TURKEY "GIVE THANKS' COLORING CONTEST - Fidelity House will be sponsoring yet another coloring contest, this one
with a turkey motif and what you give thanks for!! All entries need to be given to Fidel by Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 5:00 P.M. Prizes
will be awarded to the winning artists. Gobble, Gobble!!!
TREE TRIMMING DAY- Fidelity House's 14th Annual Tree Trimming Day will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 2:15 - 5:00
P.M. Youth in grades one and up will have the opportunity to make decorations for both the Fidelity House and their own Christmas Tree.
In addition, all participants can make Christmas cards and assist in decorating Fidelity House for the holidays. There is no admission for
this event, but non-members must pay a guest fee.
STARTS THIS WEEKEND!!
Fidelity House will once again be
offering an intramural basketball
league for 9-13 year olds. The league is open to all levels of
playing ability. The first part of every scheduled game day
will be a team practice while the latter half will be a basketball
game with scorers and referees. Games will be played on the
full court. Scrimmage games will be played on Saturday at
and Sunday 4- 5:30 p.m. November 25 and 26. A
registration fee is required and players need a current
membership to Fidelity House. Please call Fidelity House for
more details.
GIRLS WNBA BASKETBALL- NEW SESSION- Girls Basketball program offered for 3rd, 4th, 5th &
6th graders. Every week, players will learn a different skill of the game and play a game. Weds., 4 – 5 p.m.
Continues through Dec. 20.

GR. 1-4 SPORTS ACADEMY --BASKETBALL & FLOOR HOCKEY-It’s not too late! Fidelity House
will be starting up 2 new sport academys for 1st - 4th graders. The clinics are designed to teach game fundamentals, some fun
drills & sportsmanship while giving youth the chance to work on their skills during games and have fun. Tim Graham, Jackie
Woods and many other adult volunteers will help conduct the clinics. New clinics are offered every 6- 7 weeks.
FLOOR HOCKEY--Tuesdays- 7 week session begins Nov. 7- Dec. 19. GRADE 1/2 meet 3 - 4:00 p.m., GRADE 3/4 meet 4
- 5 p.m. . BASKETBALL - Fridays- 6 week session begins Nov. 3 - Dec. 15 (no bball Nov. 24). GRADE 1/2 meet 3 - 4:00 p.m.,

FITNESS CLUB - NEW SESSION Strengthening & conditioning weight training program utilizing fitness machines specially

HOLIDAY SCREENINGS- FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES- Beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving, thru Santa's visit, we will be screening
CHRISTMAS MOVIES , both classics and new, to help bring holiday cheer to the season! The Movies begin at 7:30 p.m. and all 5th graders
and up are welcome.
MEMBER of the WEEK –. 8th grader Stephanie Joseph is in the spotlight this week. Stephanie plays on our girls travel bball
team, is a cheerleader for the Trojans and has jumped right into the action at Fidelity House. She’s polite to both other members and
staff at Fidelity House and she’s a nice person. Make sure you give this gal a high five!

LOL & HMMM-. How can you make a turkey float? You need 2 scoops of ice cream, some root beer, and a turkey. Why did
the police arrest the turkey? They suspected it of fowl play…. Two chickens were talking and one chicken said to a the other
chicken "who is your favorite music composer?" The second chicken responds "bach, bach, bach!" The pro football team had
just finished their daily practice session when a large turkey came strutting onto the field. While the players gazed in amazement,
the turkey walked up to the head coach and demanded a tryout. Everyone stared in silence as the turkey caught pass after pass and
ran right through the defensive line. When the turkey returned to the sidelines, the coach shouted, "You're terrific!!! Sign up for
the season, and I'll see to it that you get a huge bonus." "Forget the bonus," the turkey said, "All I want to know is, does the
season go past Thanksgiving Day?" HMMM… A woman depended on a public telephone to make her calls, but it was usually
out of order. Each day she reported this to the phone company, but nothing was done. Finally she came up with a fib that she told
the phone company. The phone was fixed the next day. What did she tell them?…. There's one sport in which neither the

you have not paid your dues, you do NOT have any special privileges - you need to pay
them to reinstate your special privileges-Remember, the 1/2 day is Weds. & if you haven't
paid your dues, no special privileges or backpack drop offs (meaning we open at 2:00 p.m.on
Weds)…. We need HELP this week- WEDS for Girls inthe house. OPERATION SANTA IS
STARTING UP! To make it work, we need EVERYONE to help!! – we will be making
ornaments this weekend! BOARD members- Meeting this week is moved to WEDNESDAY
