R1 Author: Tapan Upmanyu Configuring Matrix SPARSH M2S Client Application in Android Devices There are two scenarios possible while configuring SPARSH M2S I. And VoIP card version must be V1R14 onwards. Log in as system engineer and go to VoIP Configuration followed by SIP Extension Settings and fill the details as shown below Fill in the details for the SIP Extension to be registered Now click on Location 1 and fill in the details as given below. Fill in the Location details for the SIP Extension to be registered Enter the public address of the router behind which ETERNITY is connected in Advance VoIP Port Parameters … The Internal Registrar Server Address will be used when SPARSH M2S user is in the office (Secnario1) (Master Ethernet Port IP Address) … The External Registrar Server Address will be used when SPARSH M2S user is out of the office (Secnario2) (Router’s Public IP Address) Now click on SIP Extension General Parameters and Select Source Port IP Address as ‘Use Router’s Public IP Address’ Open the SPARSH M2S Client Application and configure the parameters as shown below Insert Internal Server Address and Port. Insert External Server Address and Port. The SIP Extension will get registered and can be used as a normal extension of ETERNITY. : If you are unable to register SPARSH M2S. Follow the given steps: 1. Showing Configuring: Showing Configuring message on SPARSH M2S Open Jeeves of ETERNITY on that Mobile Phone.Working? YES Start logs and Contact Matrix Technical Support NO Check Port forwarding for TCP Port 80 in Router 2. Showing Request Failed: Showing Request Failed on SPARSH M2S Match Device ID configured in ETERNITY and SPARSH M2S Not Same Enter correct Device ID in ETERNITY Jeeves 3. Showing Request Time Out: Showing Request Time OUT Is SIP Port 5060 forwarded in your Router? YES Port 5060 might be blocked. Change SIP port to any value other then 5060 and forward the same in your Router NO Port Forward TCP & UDP Port 5060 in your Router to Local IP Of VoIP card 4. Showing Registration Time Out: Showing Registration Time OUT Start VoIP PCAP Trace under VoIP Configuration Restart the SPARSH M2S Application in your Mobile. Stop the PCAP trace when SPARSH M2S Application again Shows Registration Time OUT message Open FTP of VOIP card and copy the trace.pcap file from PCAP folder to your PC. Open PCAP file with Wireshark, type SIP in filter tab and press Enter key If you are getting response like 403 Invalid Register Request, it indicates that you had not set Use router’s public IP address or Use IP address fetched using STUN in SIP Extension General Parameters.
