The scheme provides free use of Broxtowe Borough Council leisure facilities to
sports performers who are representing their sport at a national level.
Across Broxtowe Borough Council’s three leisure facilities there are various indoor
racquet sport courts, swimming and fitness facilities made available through the
scheme. Normal booking procedures apply.

Application and Scheme Eligibility
To gain free access an applicant must compete in a Sport England recognised sport.
A full list of Sport England recognised sports can be viewed by visiting
www.sportengland.org A list of the recognised sports can be found under the ‘About
Us’ section.
Please return completed application forms to Broxtowe Sport, Chilwell Olympia
Sports Centre, Bye Pass Road, Chilwell, Nottingham, NG9 5HR. The applicant must
also provide a supporting letter from their sport’s National Governing Body
confirming their current level of performance. The supporting letter must be on
official headed paper and have a contact for the person confirming the applicant’s
status.
Ongoing Free Use
At the end of each year the applicant must obtain a further letter from their sport’s
National Governing Body to stay on the scheme. This letter must confirm that the
applicant’s performance status is still at a national level. There is no limit to the
number of times an applicant can apply.
Monitoring
Broxtowe Sport will maintain a database of all applicants on the scheme. This
database will include each applicant’s details, sport, level of performance and
renewal date. The database will be checked regularly and leisure centres will be
informed of those who have expired on the scheme.

The information collected by Broxtowe Borough Council will be used for
administrative and market research purposes only. Your personal details will not be
used for any other reason and will not be shared with any other organisations unless
Broxtowe Borough Council are legally required to do so or have stated as such. You
may contact the Council if you wish to stop us using your personal data for these
purposes.
