What are we learning….
Language Arts: We continue to work on
expository writing. For reading, I will be
reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and
completing a journal and quizzes based on the
book.
Math: We will continue to learn measurement
addition and subtraction using standard
algorithm.

Social Studies: For Living Museum we are now
typing our speeches in MLA format.
Big News!
We will be starting Cursive writing and
multiplication timed tests.
Speeches are due on Friday.
I will be with Mrs. Lazo shadowing her
for one week and return to the class on
January 17.
Welcome back Tigers! I hope you got lots
of rest and ready to kick back in gear full
speed! We have lots to cover in math and
writing. I look forward to helping you all
succeed in 2017 and growing in all the
