Position Purpose EASL is a collaboration of 5 member Councils (Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges) who work to promote lifelong learning and action that improves the health, wellbeing and environmental sustainability of local communities. EASL activities currently focus on professional development activities for educators, and encouraging the creation of community links, to enable greater Education for Sustainability across our region. The EASL Coordinator consults and works with the EASL Steering Committee to plan, develop and deliver targeted Education for Sustainability programs, events and communications across the region to achieve EASL aims and objectives. The EASL Coordinator will be specifically responsible for coordinating the annual and long-term project plans, administration of the EASL Steering Committee, budget planning and reporting, and evaluation of alliance operations. They will plan, deliver and evaluate regional events, coordinate regional communications to stakeholders, build and maintain stakeholder relationships, and other tasks as directed by the steering committee. www.yarraranges.vic.gov.au The EASL Coordinator will be employed and hosted by Yarra Ranges Council on behalf of the Alliance. All positions are required to undertake roles and activities related to Business Continuity and Emergency Management in preparation for and during times of crisis. 4.
