2017 LORAS COLLEGE SUMMER SOCCER LEAGUE
Hosted by the Loras College Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams
Rock Bowl Stadium – Loras College – Dubuque, Iowa
FORMAT: Games will be 8 v 8 (7 and a goalkeeper) and 2 x 25 minute halves. Mimimum 10-game Regular Season games and
Playoffs at end of season, based on regular season final standings. Games will be played on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday nights beginning May 22 - August 3.
FACILITY: All games will be played in the Rock Bowl Stadium, Loras College. Field size: 70 yds. x 53 yds.
COST:
$650 per team, with a maximum roster of 14, it is under $50 per player for the season! To add a player to the roster after
the first game is an additional $50. Substitute players: If a team is short-handed, can add up to three players (who already
participate in league) to their team for a particular game for a cost of $5 per substitute player.
DEADLINE: Entries accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis. Open Division entries due May 13. 
SCHEDULE: Teams will play at least one game per week. Game times will be at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. on Monday and
Wednesday nights. Please let us know if there is a particular game time you want or want to avoid (see registration form)
or if a particular night of the week works best and we will try our best to accommodate. Teams coming from outside of
Dubuque and teams with limited availability may play two games a night. JERSEYS: Every team will be given Loras Summer League T-shirt jerseys. No need to buy jerseys.
REGISTRATION: Teams can register online and pay with credit card at www.lorassoccer.com or complete entry form and mail with
completed team roster and entry fee (checks payable to Loras College Soccer) to: Loras College Soccer, 1450 Alta Vista,
Loras College Mail #149, P.O. Box 178, Dubuque, IA 52004-0178. Applications will be accepted on first-come/firstserve basis.

Please read this form carefully and be aware that by participating in the Loras Summer Soccer League on May 22-August 3, 2017 (hereinafter Event) you will be
waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, agreeing to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Loras College from all claims arising out of such injuries even if caused
by Loras College and authorizing Loras College to obtain emergency healthcare at your expense.
I, on behalf of myself and, on behalf of any child/ward of mine participating in the Event as well as any parent/guardians of such child/ward (hereinafter individually
and collectively referred to as “Participant”), acknowledge understanding of the requisite skills and qualifications necessary to properly and safely participate in the
Event and hereby agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, including death, damages or loss regardless of severity, which Participant may sustain as a result of,
arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the Event.
Participant agrees to waive and relinquish all claims Participant may have as a result of the Event against Loras College and its employees and agents and does hereby
fully release and discharge Loras College and its employees and agents from any and all claims for injuries, including death, damage or loss which Participant may have
or which may accrue to Participant as a result of, or arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the Event, even if caused by the negligence of Loras
College, its employees or agents.
Participant further agrees to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS AND DEFEND Loras College and its employees and agents from any and all claims for injuries,
including death, damages and losses sustained by Participant as a result of, arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the Event, even if caused by the
negligence of Loras College, its employees or agents..
Participant further understands that Loras College does not carry insurance for injuries sustained by Participant. Therefore, Participant must look to their own health
insurance policy for any injuries sustained in connection with or arising out of this Event. Participant’s failure to purchase health insurance coverage does not make
Loras College responsible for payment of medical or other expenses.
In the event of an emergency, Participant authorizes Loras College to secure any treatment deemed necessary from any licensed hospital, physician, and/or medical
personnel and agrees to be responsible for payment of any and all services rendered.
If any provision herein is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, Participant understands and agrees that the remaining provisions will continue in full force and
effect.
