Dear Local Business Owner,
The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire (GJRF), has been established to support the continued
enrichment and education of the faculty and staff of our local charter school, Juniper Ridge
Community School. Our first year in operation was a complete success and with the help of our
sponsors, patrons, and volunteers we were able to net the necessary funds to pay for an entire
semester of continued education for our faculty. We are beyond proud and fully committed to
bringing back this magical, community based event that truly had something for everyone.
GJRF is a three day event that will include entertainment acts encompassing music, comedy, juggling,
fire breathing, and more. Many of these acts come from all over the United States to entertain our
patrons. There will also be a great deal of local talent to round out our entertainment offerings. We
have invited artisans such as blacksmiths, jewelry makers, and weavers to display their wares and
provide demonstrations. A children’s realm will be an important part of the entertainment of GJRF. In
the children’s realm, children will listen to stories by the gypsies, play games, make arts & craft
projects, and be knighted by the Queen.
The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire invites you to become a sponsor for our annual Spring

Grand Junction Renaissance Faire
The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire offers its visitors an opportunity to step back in time to a magical,
enchanting fantasy land that has been created to represent an authentic European village. We are a member
of a National Renaissance Faire circuit and will feature over 40 performers, representing various
entertainments of the time: jugglers, knights in armor, jousting, fire-eaters, pirates, dancers, villagers,
peasants, historical characters and a variety of musicians. Over 60 artisans will fill the village, working in
mediums such as pottery, leather working, blacksmithing, sculpture and candle making, just to name a few.
The crafts and entertainment combined with thematic games and foods to create a glimpse of marketplace
celebrations and life in the 16th century. All proceeds from Grand Junction Renaissance Faire benefit the
continuing education fund of Juniper Ridge Community School, a local charter public school and a 501(3)(c)
organization.
 The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire is organized and hosted by Juniper Ridge Community School.
The primary objective is to fund training and continuing education for the teachers at Juniper Ridge
Community School. The secondary objective is to bring a family friendly and historically educational
event to Mesa County.
 The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire is a themed fundraising event that will include entertainment,
food, drink, a variety of vendors and live music.
 This will be the second annual event. Last year, over 3,000 people attended the Faire. We expect that
number to grow dramatically this year.
 This exciting event will be held May 12-14, 2017 at the Los Colonia Park in Grand Junction, CO. The
Faire hours are as follow:
 Friday, May 12th - 3:00 pm-9:00 pm
 Saturday, May 13th - 10:00 am-9:00 pm
 Sunday, May 14th - 10:00 am-4:00 pm
 An objective for the event this year is to exceed $25,000 being given to the Juniper Ridge Community
School Teacher Education Fund.
 The event is expected to draw in nearly 8,000 guests over the course of three days. In addition to our
growing number of staff (vendors, entertainment, volunteers, etc), the event expects to see an
increase in attendance from our target audiences over the course of the weekend and into the
following years.

Renaissance Faire patrons love culture, history and romance. The exciting and diverse educational and
entertaining offerings at the faire attract men, women, young, elderly, families and singles. No matter who
your target market is, you can reach them at the Grand Junction Renaissance faire!
The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire is set during the Renaissance but our marketing efforts couldn’t be more
21st century! Traditional media channels such as newspaper, TV and radio are utilized to deliver our message,
as well as new media channels including our website and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, and YouTube all of which direct viewers back to our website for more information. This multi-media
approach ensures that your company’s logo is seen by the highest possible number of potential guests.
 The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire is working with local and regional newspapers and magazines.
 The event will be announced on several event websites (including regional news calendars), and active
on multiple Social Media Platforms.
 The Grand Junction Renaissance Faire will be distributing printed materials in the way of flyers, letters,
postcards, visible displays from road ways, and other venues.

1 Adult Tickets attained through Sponsorship can be used for children admittance, but will not entitle the barer of the tickets any
compensation for the price difference between the Adult Fare and Children’s Fare. Should you, as the sponsor, wish to negotiate the
type of tickets received with your package please contact us directly to discuss your options.
2 To maintain the ambiance of the fair, sponsors wishing to set up their booths inside the gates will be required to follow the same
requirements as our vendors and present a period feel (tent, products, attire). If you have any questions or would like ideas how to
dress up a standard pop-up tent, we have how-to’s and other information available.

* Limited Quantity: Due to the nature of the event, certain benefits have a limited quantity of availability. As a result, these quantities
will be provided on a first come first serve basis. In the event that a benefit quantity runs out, we will make the appropriate
announcements and changes to the Sponsorship levels. Should a sponsor wish to still donate at a sponsorship level which no longer has
a limited benefit, we are willing to discuss alternatives.
