The Office of the Privacy Commissioner has produced, with the assistance of
Neighbourhood Support, 5 x A5 sized full colour advice cards about keeping your personal
information safe.
The cards are:

Keeping your information safe online
Keeping your financial information safe
You control your health information
Your personal information is valuable
You can order these cards free of charge for your organisation or group to distribute to its
members.

* The cards and other material such as an ID theft tool (see if you are at risk of identity theft)
and stories highlighting privacy challenges for older people are also available on our
website: www.privacy.org.nz. You are free to download, print, and use the information at
no cost. You might want to for example, put some information in your own organisation’s
newsletters or link it to your websites.

Your name and address are needed to dispatch your order. Your details are not passed on to anyone
else, but will be held on file by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for dispatch purposes. Subject
to restrictions in the Privacy Act you have the right to have access to the information held about you
by the Commissioner and then have it corrected.
