Classic Blackjack Rules
Classic Blackjack is played with a deck of 52 cards.
Goal: draw cards in an attempt to get as close as possible to a total card value of 21.
Cards values:

= Value of the number (ex. 5=5 points)
= 10 points
= 11 or 1 points

Blackjack Options/ Odds:
Double: the initial bet is doubled, but the player is agreeing in getting another card. If the player wins,
he’ll get 2 to 1 over the initial doubled bet.
Split: two cards bearing the same face value are split and treated as separate bets. The split bet must be
the same as the initial bet. If the split cards have the same value again, the split option is activated
again. If a split bet wins, each bet is paid even money.
Insurance: when the first card of the Dealer is an Ace, the player has the chance to pay insurance (until
half value of the initial bet). If the Dealer has a blackjack, insurance pays 2 to 1.
5 cards Charlie: if the player keeps hit until he got 5 cards without burst the hand. The casino pays 2 to
1.
Surrender: (it’s not available on classic blackjack). If the player doesn’t like the hand he has, then he can
choose not to play the cards and he’ll receive half of the initial bet back.
