Manners as the “Poplar Grove Way”- training on manners, yes sir, please,
thank you, etc. When we speak to people we look them in the eyes. Mrs.
Stovall thinks it is a good idea although directly calling it “manners” may
have some push-back. Others joined in and said it is respectful to do so.
Lots of conversation took place around the table. Approved to start next
year.
 Fundraising Initiative- Mrs. Erickson passed out list from grade levels. Mrs.
Laycock brought up fact about needing another gym for P.E. teachers.
Mrs. Erickson said they are presenting a formal request to the board on this
matter. PTO would like to see a school store on both ends of the school.
Start with 2-3 thousand dollars for each store. A motion was made for the
two teachers who do not need Promeathean Boards to get them. All
agreed. Agreement for promethean board purchases was approved.
Technology is second for students (Chrome Books). Third-Rugs, Fourthtrack.
 Time of Playground Ribbon Cutting- February 17th 11:10 a.m. Photo will
take place with everyone involved.
