Full Yield Ahead
Prayer is not to "change God's mind", or a conversation to try and make him
see things differently; rather we pray to God for wisdom, our desires,
forgiveness, with praise, thanksgiving, and to seek His Will so that we yield to
His plans, instead of our own.
Because no matter how clear we think our vision through the windshield
might be, God can see way farther down the road than we can, and knows
which direction is best, amen!
(Psalm 86:11) Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your
truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.
Men’s Ministry Breakfast
The next Men’s Ministry breakfast will meet in Friendship Cottage June 3 at 9:30
AM. Thanks to Dave Austin for providing a DVD study on Churches of
“Revelation”. Bring a friend for food, fellowship, Bible Study, and prayer.
Sunday Matinee on June 11
Bring the whole family at 2 PM to see the film “The Life of Pi” in the church
sanctuary.
Thanks for Supporting May 27 Craft/Yard Sale
A BIG thank-you to everyone who helped with our 3rd annual Yard/Craft Sale on out rain date of
May 27th. The church loaded 8 tables with goodies to sell and 15 vendors joined us. There were
raffle prizes also. Thanks to Mike Baker for cooking hot dogs for the buyers and vendors. The
money we made will help purchase and install the church's much needed new front doors.
Work on the Property in February
Charley Maly rebuilt and installed the basement outer doors to replace the
damaged ones. Food Pantry freezer was repaired with minimal food loss.
Estimates for front door replacement were obtained. Thanks to those who
have donated to the Building Fund.
