VOSE February 2016 Parent Newsletter Greetings Vose Families, Happy Friendship Week! Your students have been talking about friendship and being kind to one another in recent weeks. The school is decorated and ready for the Friendship Dance! Please join us Friday evening from 6-8pm. Cost is $5 per family. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Thank you to all the families who have supplied food donations. We are grateful! The music teachers have prepared some great music and the students are ready to get their dance moves on. Come celebrate! We had a great turnout last month for the New School meeting held on Jan 20th. Thanks to the parents and community members who came to listen, ask questions, advocate for our school and show support. We will continue to keep you updated as information becomes available regarding both the new construction and the transitional school for next year. We would also like to thank the families and community that supported Vose at McDonald’s for a fundraiser night on Jan 27th. Over $800 was raised for our school. Stay tuned for another McDonald’s fundraising event this spring. Information has gone out to schedule parents for a Teacher Conference on Wed evening 3/2 or Thursday 3/3. This is an important time to collaborate on your student’s progress in the classroom with their teacher. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to partner together to support your student’s learning goals.
