Moving houses can be a very stressful time! Here at Gunnedah First
National we asked some of our tenants about their moving experiences
and if you think you had a painful and troubled moving experience wait
till you read theirs!!
They didn’t get far before disaster struck! Travelling to their new
home Nicole braked hard to miss a truck with a ladder out the back
of it when her husband Matt ran into the back of Nicole’s car and
m
pushed her into the vehicle in front! They had to straighten out the
front of Nicole’s car as best they could so it could be driven. Nicole
said she could smell fuel the whole way to Gunnedah!!
A week later they had Nicole’s car assessed for insurance and you
wouldn’t believe it, the insurance company wrote it off as it had a
bent Chazzy!
A VERY EXPENSIVE MOVE!!

Juanita and her family moved from Meroomba in QLD (16 hours
away) to Gunnedah. They also had multiple vehicles to move all
their belongings. Half way here the couplings broke and the trailer
came loose on a corner! It was very lucky that any oncoming traffic
was not hit or anybody injured! BUT there bad luck didn’t stop there!
When they went to move into their rental property they realised the
electricity wasn’t on even though they had called the week before
to arrange it. They discovered that the electricity company had the
wrong date entered and they had to wait 3 days for it to be
connected. So they camped in the driveway in their campervan till
such time!!
