Birthday Treats
Students are welcome to bring treats
for their birthday. The Jefferson City
Public School District passed POLICY
JCHF which states that for any food to be
served in the classroom the ingredients
MUST BE KNOWN. Mrs. Koch
CANNOT SERVE ANY FOOD
WITHOUT A LIST OF INGREDIENTS.
Birthday treats must be ready-to-serve. If
the food needs to be cut, it must be cut
BEFORE it is sent to school. Birthday
treats will be passed out in the afternoon
around 3:00 PM. We have 19 students in
our class.
*We do have students this year
who have nut allergies. Please keep

book is due this Wednesday, September
23rd!
For your first paragraph please tell me what Context

meaning of unknown words. Find one unknown word in your
Independent Reading or Guided Reading book, write the
sentence from the book, and finally define the word based on
how it is used in the sentence.
