Second Show Judging: THURSDAY, September 20, 12 Noon Flower Entries and removals may be made through the door on Fair Lane near the flower department. The door will be open only during the hours designated for this purpose. Entries in this department must be made by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17th. In order to have fresh exhibits, the Specimen and Artistic Division will alternate shows. FIRST SHOW - House Plants and Specimen Exhibits may be delivered to the Horticulture Building on Sunday, Sept. 16, 3-8 p.m. Specimens only must be removed Sept. 19 after 7:00 p.m. House Plants and Garden Club displays must remain the entire 7 days of the fair and may be removed the last day of the fair from 6-8 p.m. SECOND SHOW - The Artistic Division exhibits may be delivered to the Horticulture Building on Thursday, Sept. 20 between 9:00-11:00 a.m. They must be in place by 11:00 a.m. and removed on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 6-8 p.m. THEY WILL BE JUDGED STARTING AT 12 NOON on THURSDAY, SEPT. 20. GENERAL RULES: 1. Entries open to residents of Tuscarawas County only. 2. All exhibitors must purchase a membership ticket. 3. Exhibitors may compete in both shows and enter as many classes as desired, but each exhibit must have a separate ticket and be registered with the Fair Secretary by Friday, August 17th by 2:00 p.m. 4. Judging will be by an accredited judge. 5. The judges may at their discretion withhold any award, even though it may be the only exhibit in the class. 6. Entries removed before set time will result in loss of premium. 7. Exhibitor assumes full responsibility for exhibits not removed after designated time. SPECIAL AWARDS A Rosette will be awarded to the Best of Show in each of the following: Specimen Division, House Plant Division and Artistic Division. Incorporate the use of one or more fresh fruits. 4. Sister: A modern vertical design of your own interpretation. 5. Children: Incorporate the use of a toy or toys, either in yor design, as your container, or both. 6. Mother’s Rose Garden: Use roses in this arrangement.
