The Renegade Basketball Camp is committed to
offering the highest quality camp experience
possible. All campers are welcome, regardless
of their skill level. Every effort is made to
enhance their technical skills and court sense.
Instruction is directed specifically to the
camper’s ability level. Whether a beginner or
school team player, the finest instruction will be
given. All instruction is given in a professional
manner and on an individual basis.
Director: Joe Kessler is regarded as one of
the best basketball coaches in New Jersey.
In the last 21 years of coaching the
Shawnee Basketball team, Coach Kessler
has led the Shawnee Renegades to more
wins and more state championships than
any other public school in the state. Coach
Kessler is the second fastest coach to
reach 500 wins in South Jersey history.

Age of players: Boy’s week entering grades
2nd - 9th. Advanced camp- grades 6th – 12th.
Situation & Game camp – grades 4th – 9th
Cost: $175 for each week. If attending 2
weeks of camp, total is $325, if attending
all 3 weeks total is $475.
Refunds, less a $50 administrative charge will be
made for medical reasons only. A written request
with a physician‘s letter of explanation is necessary
to process the refund. Insurance, tee shirt, special
awards, and all camp activities are also included.
To insure proper teaching contact, enrollment
will be limited. Acceptances will be on a first
come, first served basis.
Ten of the last twelve years have been sold
out! It is therefore advisable to apply early.

Please accept my registration for the
Shawnee Renegade Basketball Camp to be
held at Shawnee High School in Medford.
I understand that my son/daughter must
bring his/her own sneakers, white socks,
basketball shorts, and shirt. Full payment
of $175 per participant, does not cover
daily lunch or transportation.
The Renegade Basketball Camp will
provide secondary insurance for each
registrant.
Primary coverage will be
through each registrant’s own insurance
plan. As the parent or guardian of the
registered child, I do hereby give my
approval to his/her participation in the
Renegade Basketball Camp. In case of
injury to my child, I agree to waive all
claims resulting from, or in connection
with, the activities in which my child is a
participant. I hereby release, absolve,
indemnify and hold harmless the Renegade
Basketball Camp, its coaches and directors,
Shawnee High School, its members,
officers, organizers, sponsors, and the
supervisors.

5 TIME STATE CHAMPS
This camp is designed for the serious and
dedicated high school / middle school
basketball player. Throughout the week,
each camper will be exposed to many
different drills and techniques that we teach
our Shawnee players.

Renegade Basketball Camp – focuses
broadly on all phases of the game.
Emphasis – Improving offensive &
defensive individual skills, court
awareness and team play.

Advanced Camp – high intensity
workout camp. Emphasis - improving
individual offensive & defensive skills.
Basketball is a game where you can improve on your
own if you know what and how to practice. Our goal
is to teach each player the proper way to do this in
hopes of becoming the best basketball player they
can be. If you plan on playing at the next level – this
camp is a must!

Situation & Game Camp – this camp is
designed to work on 1 on 1 skills, 3 on 3
situations and 5 on 5 game experiences.
Shooting Station - Campers will have the
opportunity to take hundreds of shots per day.
