NEW SOUTH CAROLINA BMW FACILITY
Leading Site Development and Concrete Slab Company to Finish Concrete Assembly
Floor for New Spartanburg-based BMW ZF Transmission Plant
Sarasota, Fla. and Charleston, S.C. – Polished Solution, a division of Technical Treatment
Services, Inc. and the world’s most advanced concrete polishing company, announced today
that it has been awarded the flooring contract for the new Spartanburg-based BMW ZF
Transmission plant scheduled to start production in 2012.
The new plant will be the primary production facility for all BMW ZF series fuel-efficient
automatic transmissions for passenger cars and light trucks in North America. Polished Solution
will grind and polish 780,000 square feet of concrete to create a lustrous final finish. Providing a
dust-free, clean and safe working environment for assembly, the high-quality, stain-and-slipresistant floor will increase lumens by 27% offering a reduction in energy usage for lighting
throughout the building. Polished Solution’s state-of-the-art concrete finish comes with a
comprehensive service plan and a 10-year warranty.
