CAMDEN VALLEY BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
PLAYER / PARENT INFORMATION SHEET 2014
Tryouts for the 2014 Representative Basketball teams have now finished and we expect
to have10 teams for 2014. Training will commence this week beginning Monday 28th
October and we will break for 4 weeks from mid-December over Christmas,
recommencing mid-January.
The 2014 season will commence mid-February with some teams playing 2-3 weeks of
Pre-season qualification. Not all teams will be required to play in Pre-season. After this
time all teams will be graded into a Division. Weekly games commence Sunday 9th
March and are played each Sunday at various times and locations around Sydney. The
season will end June with Finals being played in July for any team who qualifies.
Fees
The cost for the 2014 Representative Basketball season is $480. This cost includes
training fees, player and team registration fees, referees fees, games fees, court hire, and
warm up shirts.

Playing singlets will be looked after by your team manager and should be returned after
each game.
Payment schedule:
$120 by 8th November with signed player agreement and medical form (attached)
$120 by 6th December
$120 by 31st January
$120 by 31st March

2. Weekly direct debits of $20 per week can be set up after the initial payment.
3. Payments can be made by cash or cheque to Cathy Wood (treasurer) or your team
manager.
Camden Valley Basketball - Uniform fittings
Uniform fittings will be on Tuesday 19th November and Wednesday 20th November
between 6pm and 7.30pm. Please ensure all children attend one of these sessions to be
fitted for uniforms. Please note you will not get your uniforms on the night but we
require sizing’s to place orders (payment must be made on this night).
All members of the Camden Valley Basketball Association must keep their fees up to
date to be eligible to play for their team. If you have any concerns regarding payment of
