Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union’s Annual Meeting is more than just an event that
happens once a year. It’s a commitment by staff, Members and volunteers to keep the
Credit Union vibrant and growing.
Why is it Important to Attend?
As a Member, you are an owner of the Credit Union. You’ve probably heard that before, but
what exactly does it mean? It means you are important and have a voting right to keep the
Credit Union moving in the right direction...UPWARD and FORWARD.
Members have the chance to learn how the Credit Union operates and talk with Credit Union
staff, other Members and the Credit Union Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of fellow
Members, elected by the Membership, who are entrusted with the responsibility of the general
direction and control of the Credit Union.
Tuesday, March 22 - 7:00pm
All Members are invited to attend the 82nd Annual Meeting Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 7:00pm,
Tennessee Theatre, 604 S. Gay Street, Downtown Knoxville. The President/CEO of the Credit Union
and Chairman of the Board will provide updates on Credit Union operations and financials.
There are three vacancies on the Board of Directors to be filled, all of which are three-year
terms. Each year the Board of Directors appoints a Nominating Committee to review and
nominate qualified candidates. The Nominating Committee has nominated the following
individuals to fill the open positions: Edna Riddick, Howard Rosser and Nikolaus Jordan.
In addition, petitions and petition applications will be available January 7, 2016, at all branch
locations for persons interested in running for one of the three open Board positions. Petition
applications must be complete and include a petition of at least 500 signatures of Credit Union
Members age 18 or older.
Petitions and petition applications must be postmarked by February 6, 2016, and mailed to:

Knoxville, TN 37902.
There will be no nominations from the floor nor an election conducted by ballot at the
Annual Meeting. If an election is held, the three candidates with the most votes will fill the
three open positions.
