and committing to helping your player’s team fundraise to get the players
there.
– We will need two coaches for each team, so when registering, please let us
know if you are willing to coach these teams.
The Link to sign up and let us know you are interested is on our
Baseball Main Page, Cooperstown Tab, & the Traveling Team Tab.
Process for Forming Cooperstown Teams
October 25th, BPAA Board Members will determine the teams going to
Cooperstown.
–
We will take the names registered and tryout scores from 2015. We will work
the list until 24 players are placed on teams. (12 players on a team).
▪ If we do not have 24 players who played traveling in 2015 that are interested,
House League Players will be asked next.
▪ If we still do not have 24 interested players, we will ask those who will play BP
Baseball this year, but did not play BP Baseball in 2015.
▪ At that time, we will call parents to have them register for the Cooperstown
Team. Upon registering, a $175 payment will be collected to secure your
player’s spot. This registration must be completed by October 31st to secure
your player’s spot.
▪ That $175 could be reimbursed to you by your team once your fundraising is
complete if your team decides to do this.
Who will be your Team’s
Cooperstown Representative?
This year we are requesting that one parent from each team be a
Cooperstown Representative for BPBA. This person will be responsible for
coming to BPBA Board Meetings to talk through any questions or concerns
your teams may have. Cooperstown will be first on our Agenda .
