Schedule: This is a prelim/final championship meet. Swimmers are required to swim finals.

Notes:
At the discretion of the meet director and referee, the fastest 40 women and 40 men may swim the 400 Free and the 400 IM
during the prelim session and the top 24 will return to swim at finals at night. Swimmers not among the fastest 40 may swim in
a middle session immediately following prelims at the discretion of the meet director and meet referee. All swimmers will be
eligible for the top 24.
Scratch Procedures Pre-seeded Preliminary Events/Timed Final Event – 200 yards and below: Any swimmer not appearing
for a preliminary heat when finals are scheduled shall not be penalized. Any swimmer not appearing for a timed final event
shall not be penalized. Penalty for failure to compete 400 Yards & above: Swimmer will be barred from his/her next
individual event.
Scratching from Finals: Any swimmer qualifying for a consolation or championship final in an individual event who fails to
compete in said final shall be barred from his/her next individual event. Also, failure to scratch consolation or championship
finals according to the rules above shall result in a $25.00 penalty fee per event against the swimmer.
Exception for Failure to compete – No penalty shall apply for failure to withdraw or compete in an individual event if: 1. The
Referee is notified in the event of illness or injury and accepts the proof thereof. 2. A swimmer qualifying for a consolation or
championship final race based upon the results of the preliminaries notifies the Clerk of Course within thirty (30) minutes after
the announcement of qualifiers for that race that they may not intend to compete and further declares their final intentions
within thirty (30) minutes following their last individual preliminary event. 3. It is determined by the Referee that failure to
compete is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the swimmer.
Entry Limits: 6 Individual Events – max 3 per day.
Entry Fee: $7 per event plus $2 surcharge

Time Trials: Time Trials will be held at the conclusion of each preliminary session (Fr, Sat, and Sun only) time permitting and
at the discretion of the meet referee and meet director. The Meet Referee and Meet Director reserve the right to limit the
number of time trials. Only swimmers who are entered in the
meet may participate in time trials. Time trial entries will close 60 minutes prior to the end of each preliminary session.
