Loading Screen (00)
Game loads in browser, making sure images are ready to display
Start Screen (01)
Games stops at the initial start screen, providing a large start
button for the player to press. Upon pressing, it begins a 3
second countdown, similar to the racecar game.
Game Screen (02)
At the start of a question the player is presented with an
inequality, and an animal begins to fall from the top of the screen,
with guides indicating where it will fall.
Game Screen (03)
As time elapses, the animal will fall towards the pasture, with
the guides moving with the animal.
Game Screen (04)
After the animal is placed, there is a very brief pause so the player
can refocus on the animal that is about to be dropped.
Instant Feedback (04b)
In the variant where the player is provided with instant feedback,
this is where they will receive it.
Game Screen (05)
The pause elapses and the player is presented with a new
animal to drop onto the pasture.
Instant Feedback (05b)
The only difference in the instant feedback version is that the
instant feedback given so far is visible on the screen as the player
drops the subsequent animals.
Game Screen (06)
Players receive a bonus if they drop the animals quickly onto the
pasture, even if incorrect in the end. The size of the bonus will
encourage accuracy over speed and is there to give advanced
players a bonus for performing quickly.
Instant Feedback (06b)
Again, in the instant feedback version we give the player their
results immediately. This will allow for not giving any bonus for
being fast and incorrect.
Game Screen (07)
The guides will give visual indications if they player tries to stack
the animals on top of one another.
Game Screen (08)
A small penalty will be assessed if the player continues despite
the warnings. They also indirectly lose the points from not placing
an animal in the pasture. It will be structured to encourage a wrong
answer over stacking animals to avoid a wrong answer.
Game Screen (09)
After placing the predetermined number of animals the game
will pause and evaluate the placement of the animals, giving
end of question bonuses as appropriate. Additionally the
incorrect portions of the number line are hidden.
Game Screen (10)
Once the question is fully resolved, the game moves on to the
subsequent question until no time or no further questions remain,
at which point, their total score is tallied and medal awarded if
one is earned.
