SAPPHIRE SELECT CLUB GOLD MEMBER FREE PROMOTION GIVEAWAY: FAR CRY 3 GAME CODES
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The SAPPHIRE Select Club Gold Member Giveaway: Far Cry 3 (Standard Edition) Game Codes (the
“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Sapphire Technology Ltd. (“Sapphire”).
1.
Giveaway Period & Eligibility
The Giveaway opens at 10:00 AM EDT on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 and runs until 11:59 PM EDT on
Wednesday, April 17, 2013 (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received after the Giveaway Period will be
ineligible for selection.
The Giveaway is open to Gold members of the SAPPHIRE Select Club (SSC) community worldwide; and
who have opted to receive the SSC newsletter, and who have reached the age of majority in their
Country of residence. Employees and retirees of Sapphire and its affiliates, associates, representatives,
advertising and promotional agencies and members of the immediate family of these employees and
retirees or any person with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to receive the Giveaway. Gold
members of the SSC community who have already opted to receive the SSC newsletter will
automatically be entered into the draw for the Giveaway. If you have not already done so, you can
become a Gold member by registering your Sapphire product and opt-in to receive the SSC newsletter at
www.sapphireselectclub.com. By opting-in to receive the SSC newsletter, you will automatically be
entered into the random draw for the Giveaway.
2.
Selection of Winners
Giveaway winners will be chosen based on random draw of all qualified Giveaway entries.
3.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning will be determined by number of qualified Gold members who have opted in to receive
SSC newsletter before the Entry Deadline. There are five hundred (500) codes to be given away.
4.
Notification of Giveaway Winner and Awarding of PC game codes
The notification email will use the contact information provided by the Gold member at time of opting
to receive the SSC newsletter. The selected Gold member will be contacted by email with the PC game
code and the instructions to redeem the code. Game codes expire on May 31, 2013.
Sapphire reserves the right to use any other method or medium that deems fit at its sole and absolute
discretion for the purpose of contacting and/or announcing the Giveaway recipients. Proof of opting
into receiving the SSC newsletter (in any manner whatsoever) does not represent proof that Sapphire
has received such details. Sapphire reserves the right to forfeit PC game code vouchers for any Gold
member selected to receive a PC game code vouchers who does not provide the required details to
Sapphire. Sapphire reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Giveaway
recipients and to fulfill the delivery of the PC game code vouchers and Gold members agree that
Sapphire may provide all necessary information of Gold members selected to receive a PC game code
vouchers to such third party to facilitate such service.
5.
Awarding of PC game code vouchers
From all eligible Gold members who have opted in to receive the SSC newsletter by the Entry Deadline,
the recipients will be selected at random through a draw from the following gift:
 One (1) PC game code, redeemable for the Far Cry 3 (Standard Edition ) PC game on UBIShop
(http:// http://shop.ubi.com). The game has a Suggested Retail Price of $USD 59.99
Sapphire reserves the right to change the game code without any prior notification.
PC game codes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable in any other form for whatever
reason. Gold members selected to receive a PC game code are solely responsible for the collection of
their PC game code. Sapphire, it sponsors and representatives shall have no liability to the Gold
members selected to receive a PC game code in any respect whatsoever. PC game codes have no cash
alternative.
Sapphire reserves the right to request written proof of residency and age of any Gold members selected
to receive a PC game code before the PC game code is dispatched or collected. Sapphire makes no
warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the PC game codes and shall not be
responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage thereto or arising there from.
No responsibility will be accepted by Sapphire for the safe and effective downloading of the PC game
code.
All PC game codes are accepted entirely at the risk of the Gold members selected to receive a PC game
code, and Sapphire excludes all warranties in connection with any PC game code to the extent permitted
by law. Gold members selected to receive a PC game code shall comply with the terms and conditions
of each PC game code.
6.
Publicity
Sapphire reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to use the nicknames, names, likeness,
picture, photographs, hometown, biographical information and voice or video recordings of the
Giveaway recipients without first obtaining any consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the
Giveaway recipients(s) for publicity, advertising, trade or promotion purposes in any media. By
downloading a PC game code, the Gold member, except where prohibited by law, grants Sapphire and
its affiliated companies the right to use the Gold member’s nicknames, names, likeness, picture,
photographs, hometown, biographical information, voice or video recordings for advertising and
promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7.
Void Where Prohibited
This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
8.
Variation to the Terms & Conditions
Sapphire reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Giveaway Terms and Conditions
without prior notice at any time and the Gold members shall be bound to such changes.
9.
Liability
Sapphire shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of the
information entered to opt in the receive the SSC newsletter, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data
transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased
computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer
equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online
survey, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s
computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Giveaway.
Sapphire will not be responsible or liable for any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any
Gold member resulting from their participation in the Giveaway.
10.
Disqualification or Suspension
Sapphire reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it determines to be
tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, to be acting in breach or potential
breach of these Giveaway Terms and Conditions and/or the Sapphire Website Use and Access
Agreement. No correspondence shall be entertained. Sapphire further reserves the right to cancel,
modify suspend or delay the Giveaway in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable
control.
11.
Sponsor
Sapphire Technology Ltd, Unit 1919, 19F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Shatin Rural Committee
Road, Shatin, New Territory, Hong Kong is the sole sponsor of the Contest.
