Berkeley Eagles Return to First Grade
Opportunities available for players
In 2016 the Berkeley Eagles will be returning to the Illawarra Coal League 1st Grade competition.
After a two year absence the club is in a strong position and is confident of a successful return to top
grade competition.
After securing their first grade coach and with the financial backing of several sponsors, the club is
now looking for additional players to build on the strength of those already signed for next year. The
club is planning on fielding sides across all three grades of the Illawarra Coal League competition.
The club is particularly interested in talking to experienced front rowers, hookers, halves and outside
backs. Berkeley offer a competitive package for their players, as well as the opportunity to play in
the premier competition on the NSW South Coast. The club also has links with the Illawarra Cutters
and the Easts group.
