New Player and Freshmen Tryouts
July 25th, 26th, and 27th 2016 5:00-7:00pm
Rio Mesa Girls Volleyball is holding is tryouts for the 2016 season. Tryouts are open to all
Rio Mesa High athletes that have not previously played for Rio Mesa, transfer students
enrolled for the 2016-2017 school year, and all incoming 9th grade student.
Requirements to Tryout:


A complete physical form signed by a doctor
o Visit www.athleticclearance.com and complete the clearance form online.
Download and print the physical form or pick one up from the Rio Mesa Front
Office to have signed by the doctor. Must be completed before July 25th. You will
not be allowed to tryout if you are not cleared.
Athletic Attire
o No jeans or items with buttons or zippers
o No tank tops or ripped shirts
o Recommend wearing athletic shoes
It is recommended that you attend and bring water every day of the tryout. The final roster
will be posted in the gym at the end of the 3rd day of tryouts. Make up tryouts will be held on
August 1st from 5-7pm only if roster spots are available.
Summer practices start August 1st, 2016 from 8:00-10:30am and will be Monday-Friday until
our first match on August 25th at Simi Valley High School. There will be weekend summer
leagues during this time.
