1.
Entry Fee is $15.00 per bowler per event ($5.00 – Awards, $10.00 - Lineage and Expenses). ALL EVENTS is
INCLUDED in ENTRY(Rule 9). All Awards Fees returned 100% in form of awards.
2.
This tournament is open to all youth bowlers sanctioned in youth leagues through LIUSBCA. USBC rules and
regulations will govern this tournament.
3.
Doubles will consist of two persons. Entrants may be all females, all males, or mixed. Entries may consist of
bowlers from different ages.
4.
CLASS A: 351 to 500;
CLASS B: 251 to 350;
CLASS C: 250 and under;
CLASS S: SCRATCH
* - If less than 10 scratch entries, teams will be moved to CLASS A
5.
Singles will be classified by average as follows:
CLASS A: 176 TO 250
CLASS B: 126 to 175;
CLASS C: 125 and under;
CLASS S: SCRATCH
* - If less than 10 scratch entries, bowlers will be moved to CLASS A

Highest 2016-2017 USBC certified league average (including High School Certified Averages) as of Feb. 1, 2017,
based on a minimum of 15 games or five (5) league sessions will be used for entering purposes. Bowler who does not
have 15 games or five (5) league sessions as of Feb. 1, 2017 may use his/her highest current average as of certified
league session at time of participation, based on a minimum of 15 games or five (5) league sessions. Certified bowlers
with no certified average for the current season may use his/her highest certified summer league average from the 2016
season based on a minimum of 15 games or five (5) league sessions. WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF THIS MUST BE
PRESENTED AT TIME OF PARTICIPATION. Certified bowlers with no acceptable average will be classified by USBC
age division: 8 & under and 9-12 (150); 13-16(200); 17-20(225), and will bowl scratch.
7.
HANDICAP: DOUBLES, and SINGLES: 90% of the difference between team average and top of the class.
8.
AWARDS: will be given per event for each division and for each class on a 1:10 entry ratio to a maximum of three
places. Singles and doubles divisions may be combined. Duplicate awards will be given in event of ties.
9.
Winners will be notified and invited to LIUSBCA Awards Ceremonies in May 2017. ALL EVENTS includes NYS
TEAM QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT SERIES added to SINGLES and DOUBLES SCORES. HIGHEST SERIES in each
EVENT will be used for ALL EVENTS.
10.
RE-ENTRIES: permitted in each event only if space permits; reentry in doubles must also reenter in singles. Only
one awards position will be given if reentry is with the same doubles partner; only one position award given in singles.
11.
No confirmation will be sent unless the requested squad is filled. If you wish to confirm your requested squads,
please call the association office.
12.
Lanes will be assigned according to division 1 5 minutes before the beginning of the squad. Thereafter,
lanes will be assigned in sequence regardless of division.
13.
Committee reserves the right to check bowling balls for conformity with USBC Rules. All non-conforming balls will
be retained until the conclusion of the squad
