UO/HX Policy for Effective Use of GDS
GDS Transactions
1.
PNR creation for training or testing in the live mode of a GDS is strictly prohibited
嚴禁在系統中訂位以做為訓練或測試之用
2.
Do not create the PNR merely for a fare quotation
Use GDS itinerary
pricing function to perform fares quotation instead of creating a PNR for fares quotation
不可僅為計算票價而訂位 , 請直接以計價功能計算票價
3.
Do not repeatedly cancel and rebook the PNR for extending ticket time limit
不可為要延長開票期限而在同一代號重覆訂位或取消記錄
4.
Do not keep on rebooking and waitlisted segment
請勿重複或訂多班之後補機位
UO/HX will review the waitlist segment regularly and a waitlist segment would not
increase the chance of waitlist promotion.
總公司線控員會固定檢查後補名單,並適時給位,後補太多機位並不會增加給位機會
5.
Never create block seat PNR 嚴禁以假訂位預佔機位
Blocking off seats in advance will adversely affect the airlines selling opportunities and
cause high cancellation transactions. If airlines found any illegal block seat made by agents,
they will stop sales on HX,UO flights immediately.
6.
Promptly remove all unwanted / airlines cancelled segment
For those cancelled segments under status code HX/NO/UC/UN, GDS will charge UO/HX
if they are not removed to the history portion of PNR.
All unwanted segment must be cancelled/removed one day before the flight departure
date. Airlines may charge back from the agents if fail to do so.
請務必清除代號內 HX/NO/UC/UN 的航段, 否則將向旅行社索取 GDS 費用
7.
Never create duplicate bookings for the same passenger in the same of different GDS
嚴禁重覆訂位
Duplicate bookings will cause PNR un-sychronization, seat wastage and extra GDS
transaction. If airlines found any illegal duplicate bookings made by agents, they will stop
sales on HX, UO flights immediately.
請勿於相同或不同之訂位系統重覆訂位, 以免造成機位浪費和異常
Passive Segment Handling
8.
Do not create unnecessary passive segments, unless
a) the original booking record does not exist in the same GDS that agents use and;
b) Travel agent has not installed the other GDS where the original booking was made.
勿建立不必要之航段 如 GK. PK
9.
One booking for each passenger
Use a single booking for all functions such as itinerary print, ticket issuance, etc.

Use PNR queue function instead of creating another passive PNR
GDS provide queue function to transfer the booking from booking agent to ticketing agent.
Check with your GDS for more details.
請勿另做新的代號 利用造橋來傳遞 PNR
