A Roll number comprises 9 Digits Numerical 2. The First digit will represent University/ Program. The availability of first digit number and its allotment is as given below. Currently being used for 2001 Summer and Winter Sessions, hence not available 1 for allotment. 2 Not yet allotted / Available for allotment 3 Not yet allotted / Available for allotment 4 Not yet allotted / Available for allotment 5 SMU students – IT / Management courses 6 SMU Allied Health Courses 7 SMU Aptech Twinning Program Courses – BScAIT, BScMM and any other Courses under Aptech 8 Non- University Program 9 Not available for allotment as it is being used for MAHE students of 1999. 3. The Second digit of the Roll number shall represent the Session, i.e. Summer Session and Winter Session. Indicates Summer session (Domestic) 1 2 Indicates Winter session (Domestic) 3 Indicates Summer Session (International) 4 Indicates Winter Session (International) 5 Foreign student taking admission in India in Summer Session 6 Foreign student taking admission in India in Winter Session 4. The Third and Fourth digits shall represent the year. Example: 2007 and 2008 will be represented as 07 and 08 respectively. 5.
