Aberaman GrasshoppersU14's Finish Season with a Flurry at Caedrawnant
Aberaman's U14's netted 11 with no reply versus Valley Blades on the final outing of the season! An
excellent team effort saw Aberaman 'Grasshoppers' U14's score 11 past Valley Blades away in Mountain
Ash to close the season on a high. Goals from Jamie Richards, Chad Davies (2), Ryan Welch (2), Ryan
Boulton, Dan Mathias, Adam Hawkins (2) & Adam Mahagan (2) secured all 3 points. Adam Mahagan's
distribution from corners was sublime as the U14's ran riot after a more reserved first half. Sam Jenkins
earned himself a well deserved oppositions Man of the Match after a dogged performance in various
positions on the pitch. The U14's will take their place in the same league next season & I predict good
things for the remaining players. The following players move up to the U16's after an excellent season,
Chad Davies, Ryan Welch, Callum Murray & Liam Hughes. Marcus Davies steps down as coach &
wishes the new coach, Chris Thomas & the remaining U14's a prosperous 2012/13 season. A final thank
you for the support shown by players & parents this season, see you all on 26 May 2012 for the club
presentation.
Cwmbach RSJSC welcomed Valley Blades to the rec in their final league match of the season won
comfortably , good luck to the lads from Valley Blades who have gone the season without gaining a point
thus far but have shown great spirit week after week, well done.

Only one fixture this weekend saw Carnetown BGC came out on top beating AFC Llwydcoed at
