Theminimumqualificationrequiredbyacoachtoprovideariskassessmentoftheapplicantisacurrent:
• NCCPCompetitionIntroductioncertificate;and
• RugbyReadycertificate;and
• RegistrationwithRugbyCanada.
Inconductinganyassessment,thecoachshouldtakethefollowingcommonfactorsintoconsideration:
• Whatistheplayer’slevelofphysicaldevelopment(e.g.height,weight,build)whenmeasuredagainstpotential
playingcolleagues?
• Istheplayerphysicallyequippedtocompeteonanequalbasiswithplayersintherequestedagecategory?
