Aims & Objectives
To make decisions that help movement with the ball to create chances to

Organisation & Setup
Slide 1 - warm up, players take 15 touches on a ball before moving the ball
to the next box for the next 15 touches (can be different size/types of
footballs scattered around the area)
Take a ball each and players can score a bonus goal for each square they
move through before they score in the goal (ie 2 squares and a goal = 3
goals). Regain the ball and move through X squares again before taking
another shot.
Slide 2 - 2 inside a square, ball each moving through the square without
crashing into each other.
Slide 3 - 1v1 games, one ball between two trying to score in one of the
goals. If opponent can gain possession they can score. Squares are safety
areas.
Coaching Factors & Outcomes
Concentration to recognise space to move through
Commitment to keep trying and working to have some success against
different people. Who display different skills
Emotional control - to help make decisions with the ball in a controlled
state.
Adaptation & Progression
Slide 1 - footballs can be left inside the squares and players travel between
each square without the ball (chance to scan, recognise space & available
footballs to move to). Footballs can be used in hands.
Slide 2 - players can work without a ball (recognise space & movements to
help create bigger spaces), with one ball (recognise ways to move past an
opponent using ball or body to create a bigger space) or with a ball each
(concentrate on ways to change direction and move past someone with the
ball using different parts of both feet).
Slide 3 could play in groups of 3 rotating the 2v1 game with 1 ball being
used between the three. Will rotate the partners if 1v1 to enable players to
