Teacher Cards
Redwood City Public Library offers library cards to teachers in our community. If you are a teacher, home school
educator, preschool or day care provider who lives or works in the City of Redwood City, Redwood City School
District, Sequoia Union High School District, Cañada College or private school in Redwood City, you are eligible for a
Teacher Card. Please complete the form below and bring it to any Redwood City Public Library.
Benefits of your teacher card




No overdue fines on Redwood City Public Library materials (except Link+ items).
Classroom and personal use material on separate library records.
Renew a maximum of 5 times, excluding Quick Picks, Link+ and items with existing holds.
Your Redwood City Public Library Teacher Card may only be used for classroom materials and is not for personal
use. Please be aware that you are responsible for any lost or damaged material checked out to your Redwood
City Public Library Teacher Card.
How to apply
Please complete the attached form and bring it, along with your personal library card and ID with proof of current
home address, to any Redwood City Public Library. Your personal library card must be in good standing, meaning your
card is current, you do not owe fines over $15.00, and you have no billed items.
