Spring Fling SemiFormal Dance
. It is on March 30th from 6-8 for 48th grades at the elementary gym.
Admission is $5. They will vote for a
Queen and King which will be a
dollar vote with unlimited voting.
There will also be 2 different
contests: limbo & dance off with an
entry fee of $1 each.
Local Livestock Show
On February 21, Quinton hosted
the local livestock show
Elementary Snack
Program
We are very excited to announce
the start of our new snack program
for our elementary students in
Pre-K through 6th grade! This
program will begin when we come
back from spring break. Students
will receive a nutritious snack in
the afternoon each day!
Book Fair Results
The book fair that was recently
held at the elementary, sold 571
books! This translates to
102,780 minutes of independent
reading time. The library also
received $1014.00 worth of
books and $500 in cash to use
toward future book/technology
purchases. Thank you for
supporting out book fair!
County Livestock Show
Rynda Wilson, Sara Ford, and Grace
Williams each competed for AllAround Intermediate Showmanship.
Congratulations to Grace Williams for
winning! Other students entered in the
show were: Jenna Simpson, Rynda
Wilson, Sara Ford, and Kyleigh
Hilburn (cattle); Chloe Mack (goats);
Madison Daniels, Rynda Wilson,
Aliviah Daniels, and Peyton Rea
(sheep); Kason Sharber, Grace
Williams (swine).

Quinton Savage Band!
On March 7th, our HS Band
competed in the OSSAA District
Band Concert competition at
Durant, OK. The band was
awarded superior ratings in both
on stage performance and sight
reading. They will advance to the
State completion on March 28, at
ECU in Ada, OK.

Partnership of Summer School
Education
Quinton Public Schools is
teaming up with the Choctaw
Nation to provide summer
school to students in
Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
This reading and math
intervention program includes
24 days of classroom
instruction. POSSE will serve
any eligible student who attends
school within the geographical
boundaries of the Choctaw
Nation, regardless of race or
ethnicity. Invitations will be
sent home with students who
are eligible for the program. If
