El Salvador pack Water, Water Game Instructions You will need: Teams of 4-6 around a table 1 die and shaking pot A sheet for each contestant The story of the Water Project at Community Divina Providencia, San Pedro Masahuat (Christian Aid partner APRODHENI) Playing the game… throw the die to get the water to the people in their houses. Draw over the dotted lines when you roll the right number. 1. You need to find land for the well and pumping station first (throw a 6) 2. You can’t dig the trenches and lay the pipes until you have a place to store the things you need (throw a 5). 3. Throw a 4 for the well and pump station. 4. You can’t lay the pipes until the trenches are dug (throw a 3) 5. You can’t connect up the houses until the main pipes are laid (throw a 2) 6. Then the pipes can be laid (throw a 1 six times) and water can flow!! If one group finishes encourage them to help the group that are struggling. You can talk about how the groups help each other in the village. After playing… The committee could not get permission to dig up the road, so the people on the other side do not have clean piped water. How do you think they feel? What do you think they will do?
