Character Bag Project

Character Bag Project-due Friday, 11/14
To end our unit on characters and character traits, your child will be given a brown paper
bag to describe one character from one of the novels we have read in class.
*Our class has read the following novels together:
Stone Fox
Amber Brown Is Not A Crayon
Beezus and Ramona
YOUR BAG IS EXPECTED TO CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
Front of Bag:
White paper glued to the front with:
*A picture of the character
*Title of book
*Author of book
*Character’s name that you are describing
*Your name
Inside the bag:
Three index cards that show three things that are important to your character.
On the front of each index card, draw a picture of the thing that is important. On the
back of each index card, write why it is important or meaningful to the character.
Back of Bag:
Tell whether or not your character changed throughout the book. If your character
changed, tell how they did and support it with details. If your character did not change
at all, tell how you know he/she did not change with evidence.
Side of bag:
List some traits to describe your character, and provide evidence.
Side of bag:
Write what would happen if your character found a bag of money, what would they do
with it?
(Start your first sentence with these words: If my character found a bag of money)
**You can get as creative as you want with this project. It can be handwritten or typed.
You can draw pictures yourself or print them from the computer.
REMEMBER: Use full sentences! Neatness counts! Grammar counts! Spelling
counts!
