Congratulations to Mr. Plate and the New Simpson Hill Marching Band on
their performance at the Johnson County Fall Festival!!!!
We appreciate the cooperation of parents as we try to make the after
school parent pick-up procedures safer for the students. I realize it is an
inconvenience to leave your vehicle to pick up your child, but after
observing the process, I feel this is a safer alternative. If you have any

Reminder to Parents: You can access your student(s) grades through a
secure online grading system. We encourage parents to stay up with their
child’s grades and to further communicate with their teachers. The online
grading program is accessible for students in grades 1st-8th. Teachers
update grades weekly. If you need your password or the web address to
access your child’s grades, please contact Mr. Witges at 658-8536.
With the flu season approaching, it is recommended that a child be fever
free for 24 hours before returning to school. Those with flu like illness
should stay home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever, or
signs of a fever, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
REMINDER: PK – 4th students may need jackets to play outside during morning
recesses.
