Team Games Ultimate Frisbee o o o o Game begins with a throw off To score you must make a complete pass into the end zone When you have the Frisbee you may not take a step (only pivot) Be sure you make eye contact before throwing the Frisbee at your teammate o All defense is played one arms length away o The Frisbee may be intercepted or knocked down (the Frisbee may not be pulled or hit out of someone hands) o When the Frisbee is knocked down, intercepted, or a pass is incomplete, possession changes Pin Ball o o o o o o o o o o o Game begins with one ball in each goalie zone (two balls in play) To score you must knock down all three pins When you have the ball you may not take a step (only pivot) All defense is played at one arms length away The ball may be intercepted or knocked down (the ball may not be pulled or hit out of someone hands) When the ball is knocked down, intercepted, or a pass is incomplete, possession changes There may be a maximum of two goalies guarding the pins When a pin falls it remains down (even if a goalie knocks over their own pin) No one is allowed in the goalie zone – if a player crosses the line (to retrieve a ball or shoot), play will stop and there will be a penalty shot Sideline players may be used to help advance the ball down the court Sideline players may not enter the goalie zone and may not score Angle Ball o Game begins with a jump ball o To score a point you must knock the ball off the standard by hitting the pole or the ball o When shooting (trying to score) you must be outside the three point zone o If you catch the ball inside the three point zone you must pass it out in order for your teammate to score o When you have the ball you may not take a step (only pivot) o All defense is played at one arms length away o The ball may be intercepted or knocked down (the ball may not be pulled or hit out of someone hands) o When the ball is knocked down, intercepted, or a pass is incomplete, possession changes o Sideline players may be used to help advance the ball down the court o Sideline players may not may not score Hand Ball o o o o Game is started by a jump ball When you have the ball you may not take a step (only pivot) All defense is played at one arms length away The ball may be intercepted or knocked down (the ball may not be pulled or hit out of someone hands) o When the ball is knocked down, intercepted, or a pass is incomplete, possession changes o You score a point by throwing the ball into the goal o When shooting, you must remain outside the three point zone Mat Ball o The kicking teams’ goal is to score as many runs as possible in an inning o Kicker must make forward progress with the ball, if it goes backwards they will kick again – two pitches per kicker o Once the kicker is safe on first base they do not have to advance (or run) if they don’t want to - YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY RUNNERS ON A BASE AS YOU WANT o Runners may keep running the bases and score as many homeruns as they want o Runners may not run when the pitcher has the ball o If the runner is half way to the base when the pitcher has the ball then they may advance to that base (if they are not half way when the pitcher gets the ball they must return to the previous base) o The outfield needs to complete five outs to switch and get up to kick o To get an out, the fielders may catch the ball in the air or off the wall, they may also peg the runner below the waist to get them out o If an outfielder catches the ball any runner may advance to the next base (at this time they may be pegged out) o To stop the runners from advancing bases the outfielders must get the ball to the pitcher o If the ball is kicked and it hits the scoreboard it is ruled an automatic 5 outs o If the ball is kicked up onto the second level (the track) a homerun is scored
