What is the Alberta Thoroughbred Race Club?
The Club is a partnership of up to 250 members that will share in the ownership and racing experience of 3 Thoroughbred
Race Horses.
Who is the Club open to?
The Club is open to anyone of any age who is not currently active in Thoroughbred ownership and racing. (To be
determined on a case by case basis)
Are there any additional costs beyond the $300 membership fee?
No, there will be absolutely no additional costs beyond the membership fee for the entire 2017 racing season.
Where will the Club horses race this year?
It is the Clubs intention to race at both Northlands Park and Century Downs during the 2017 season.
Is there a potential for profit?
Yes, members will share in all earnings net of racing expenses, lease costs and club operating costs.
How do I join?
Complete the Club Application and pay the membership fee (details on the application).
