Foul weather did not dampen the competition nor the crowd interest. This year’s format was slightly different. While the events remained the same, the staging of the finesse portions were held at the DOLMAR booth, thus allowing the spectators to enjoy a close view of precision events such as the bore cut, big stump notching, bucking and springpole release. When it came time for the limbing and felling, the venue moved to the track in front of the grandstand. The Collegiate division performed on Saturday with five students from The University of Wisconsin - River Falls, Mid State Technical College and Paul Smith’s College participating.
