Organization
30X30 Yard area
Players move around inside area, changing directions
regularly.
When balls are added encourage players to move in
and out of each other, using fakes and turns
30X30 Yard area
Loose – Individuals working inside area
Cones – Multiple cones dropped randomly inside
area. Players complete moves to cones
Key Coaching Points
Full movements on dynamic stretches, reduce speed
and concentrate on mechanics of movements
Ball work – small touches, head up, move ball in
different directions, not a straight line, avoid other
players. Use changes of speed and direction

Variations of Goal Positions / Game Conditions
Decision making:
Pass – to open players, Dribble – to open space,
Turns & Shield – when space is reduced, 1 vs 1
when attacking goal or open space
Change direction with pass or move to switch play
Cool Down
Dynamic movements and stretches, at slower speed than warm-up. Following directions from the coach.
