For 3 court option, must have at least 4 players from each team present for a match. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 players on team rosters. If more than 6 players, add an additional court Team Coach/Manager at each match Option 1--Four rounds of play (one singles and one doubles per round) - all players guaranteed to play two times Suggested order of play for 2 courts: Round 1 – better singles, weaker doubles Round 2 – weaker singles, stronger doubles Round 3 – singles, doubles* Round 4 – singles, doubles* *In the rounds 3 and 4, it is helpful to mix-up the line-up so players have a chance to play different players. Option 2--Three rounds of play (Rounds 1 & 2: 1 doubles and 2 singles, Round 3: 2 doubles) - all players guaranteed to play two times Suggested order of play for 3 courts: Round 1 – better singles, weaker doubles Round 2 – weaker singles, stronger doubles Round 3 – two doubles (ideally mixing up the line-up so players have a chance to play different players) The two coaches will arrange all singles matches by strength and arrange doubles matches by strength when possible Official Scorecard completed and exchanged prior to each team match For timed matches--need to designate someone to keep time each round (30 minute matches). Only completed games should be listed so if it is 5-2 in the set and 30-40 in the game, 5-2 is recorded Team Standings must be kept by entering match scores on TennisLink LINEUP SCENARIOS: The goal is to have an appropriate level of competition for everyone and for all players to play more than one match. Adjustments can be made to the line-up based on results from the early rounds. 3 PLAYER LINEUP If a team has 3 players, then all 3 will play 4 matches 1 Player will play 2 singles and 2 doubles 2 Players will play 1 singles and 3 doubles 4 PLAYER LINEUP If a team has 4 players, then all 4 players will play 1 singles and 2 doubles 5 PLAYER LINEUP If a team has 5 players, then 1 person will play 3 matches and the others will play 2 matches 1 player will play 1 singles and 2 doubles 3 players will play 1 singles and 1 doubles 1 player will play 2 doubles 6 PLAYER LINEUP All players will play 2 matches each 2 players will play 2 doubles All other players will play 1 singles and 1 doubles
