organize a reserve for you.
NEW RULE: If you have the BYE for this comp you do not play but we will probably need you as a
reserve for another match. Neil will call you on Sunday night if we need you to play.

FORMAT/RULES:









19 weeks of play.
Cost of Comp: $240 per player.
Format: 3 Sets Doubles, Best of 8 games .Tie-breaker at 4 games all (First to 7 points).
DIVISION 2: One full round of 11 matches / Pairs then to be divided into two divisions of six based on
points after first round / Each pair to play each other once in new group / Points won to be added onto
first round total to decide final placing / Semi-Final / Final. Prizes will be awarded for winners and
runners-up in top division. One spare week at the end of the comp to be used for social play.
Toss/Changing ends: Players toss before the first set only. Winner of the toss has the choice to either
serve, receive or choice of end. The serve then alternates between teams and players for remainder of
the match. Teams change ends after every 4 games. At 4-all teams change ends to commence the tiebreak game. (Please Note: Team who serves first point in tie-break will serve second in the first game of
the next set.)
TIMES: 9:15 - Players to warm up from 9:15. Match must start by 9:30. 11am - Please arrive 5 minutes
early for 11am matches
POINTS -1 point is awarded for each set won. A Bye match is counted as 3 points.
BYE – not required to play but may be called as a reserve if available.
WET WEATHER- All matches are assumed to be ON unless you receive message via sms. Washed out
matches will be played at the end of the round matches before the finals.
