4 Person Teams – Mixed League
Mondays @ 7:00 * Cost: $19 each week
League bowls 3 games,
2 frames at a time,
90% Handicap.
Runs about 15 weeks
Each team will consist of 4 mixed bowlers per team.
A handicap of 90% is used based on a 125-individual average. For example if a
bowler’s total average comes to 100 that bowler will receive a handicap of 22
pins per string. (Ex: 125 - 100 = 25 X 90%= 22 pins per game.)
A team or player may bowl ahead for their match anytime during the week but
not after their scheduled match. No substitute bowlers are allowed to bowl
ahead.
All matches will start by 7:05. A bowler that comes in after the match has started
may bowl only if the opposing team has not completed six boxes in the game he
or she came late to.
A bowler who does not show up will have a score posted of 5 pins less his or her
average.
If a team does not show up to bowl the opposing team does not get a free 8
points but must beat the opposing teams averages minus 5 to earn points.
All dues and bowling fees are to be paid the night of the match. Anyone who
cannot pay please notify the Counter before bowling. A bowler who owes two
weeks of dues and fees will not be allowed to bowl the third week until all dues
and fees are paid in full.
Any questionable incidents such as a ball that may have gone into the gutter
before hitting a standing pin shall be called by the bowler and only the bowler,
The rules and regulations of the Massachusetts Bowling Association will govern
the league. All other incidents shall be brought to the Leo’s Counter Staffs
attention immediately for final judgment.
Each team captain is responsible for bringing bowling pay envelopes to the
counter before the end of the 1st string.
All league information such as league standings and lane assignments will be
posted every week on our website @ www.leossuperbowl.com and at the
bowling lanes.
