Game 1: Playing Card Tag
All students get one playing card. Students stand in personal space. Everyone is a tagger.
If you do not want to keep the current card that you have, tag someone and they must trade
cards with you. Students can not be tagged while trading cards. Also, no guarding those
Scooters could be used as

repetition, and all other cards = the number on the card. The diagram shows what is
projected on the gym wall.
Game2: Playing Card Exchange
Students all have one playing card. Everyone does laps around the gym using various
locomotor skills. If someone says “Trade” you are required to trade cards with that
student. The locomotor movement can not be stopped during the exchange of cards.
Stopping will cause other students to crash into the trading card group. Movements could
include: lunge walk, skipping, galloping, karioka, frog jump, etc. When the music stops all
students perform the exercises displayed on the gym wall.
Both of these activities could be done on scooters as an alternative.
