On Fire from Stocksbridge School, overall winners of BiG Challenge Nine, took
a five-day business trip to Warsaw, Poland thanks to sponsors DLA Piper.
The girls reflected on their
experience:
"We remember a really long pause
before David Grey announced the
winner. We couldn’t believe it and
we’re all really nervous even after
we had won!
"The hotel was lovely and we
did some brilliant trips. We went
out every night to different
restaurants. At Hard Rock café
they sat us under Jarvis Cocker’s
guitar. In one really posh
restaurant they knew we were
coming and gave us a room all to
ourselves!
"Since the trip to the
DLA Piper office in
Warsaw, I’ve wanted to
be a Lawyer"

"The Jewish museum was
fascinating but really sad. The
Copernicus science museum and
planetarium were amazing too.
"Everything about the trip was
brilliant, we all want to go back
one day."

Secondary Schools and Colleges in Sheffield.
Each team has the opportunity to design and grow a
business from a £25 start up grant over two school terms,
with a chance to win one of many awards including an all
expenses paid, five day trip to an International destination!
