 The 2017 BaySwim will be limited to 300 total swimmers
 BaySwim paper applications will be accepted through Friday, June 10th…as space allows.
 No paper applications will be accepted if received after June 10 th
 In place of a mailed paper application, BaySwim 2017 application may be completed on-line:
www.DiscoverPI.com. (Payment by credit card.)
 Entry fees are non-refundable. All proceeds will benefit Presque Isle State Park, the Erie County
Diabetes Association, the Presque Isle Lifeguard Association, the Reyburn Sailing School and other
non-profits whose time and assistance contribute to the success of the event.
 Detailed needed information for all BaySwim 2017 applicants will be posted on www.discoverpi.com
by June 1st and will be updated through June 17 th.

- WAIVER –
In consideration of the entrant being permitted to participate in this event, the undersigned
hereby releases and discharges the event organizers, sponsors, the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, Presque Isle Partnership, the Erie assignees from all claims, demands, actions,
damages, judgments and executions which the undersigned, their heirs, executors,
administrators, representatives or assigns might have now or in the future for any harm,
injury, damage or occurrence, whether foreseen or unforeseen, which might arise from or be
related to the entrant’s participation in this event. The entrant also agrees to release rights to
and allow the use of any photographs or videos in which they may appear.

I attest and verify that I am physically fit and trained sufficiently to complete the One Mile
Open Water Swim across Presque Isle Bay on June 17, 2017.

Further, I understand that although wetsuits are permitted, no other floatation devices or swim
aids are permitted (no fins, no snorkels, no hand paddles).
