Law Society of Alberta
PC Renewal Process
Any lawyer who has been a Voting Shareholder or Director in a
Professional Corporation, regardless of their status, will have a “MY PC”
tab. They will have restricted access depending on their status and/or the
PC’s status.
PC Account Tab
This is where a lawyer can view their outstanding PC renewal invoices. If
they are a Director or Voting Shareholder in more than one PC they will
have multiple invoices.
They will be unable to pay until they have completed the renewal by
certifying and confirming the appropriate information. They can do this
under the PC Renewal Tab.
If payment has been made by a method other than credit card, the lawyer
will have to wait for the payment to be processed and applied to their
account before they will get a receipt or their renewal permit.
