Wednesday, June 21 – Following Through with Requests

FAMILY EDUCATION
Following through with Requests
Following through with requests, avoiding power struggles, and being consistent are
important skills for parents and caregivers. Once a request is stated clearly and politely,
we must be prepared for inevitable protests, arguments, and unhappiness.
You are invited to join us for a discussion, based on The Incredible Years® program,
about the importance of consistency and follow-through by parents and caregivers,
understanding that testing is normal behavior for children.
